Instructions

  • In a heatproof bowl, microwave the candy melts in the microwave for 20sec bursts, stirring between bursts until fully melted.
  • Pour melted candy into a 8-inch tin (or larger tin / cookie sheet) lined with greaseproof paper, then smooth out.
  • Top with Halloween candy and sprinkles then refrigerate for at least 15mins until set.
  • Remove your set bark from the tin and peel off the greaseproof paper. Snap the slab into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Up to 1 month in an airtight container at room temperature (or the fridge if it's hot where you live).
Pan size: I use an 8x8inch square tin, but you can use a larger-sized tin or a cookie sheet and spread the melted candy out to roughly ½ to 1-inch thickness.
Substitutions:
  • Use your favourite or leftover Halloween candy and sprinkles for this bark. Personally, I'm a bit fan of adding edible candy eyes!
  • I like using orange candy melts, but you can swap for another colour of candy wafers for chocolate (white, milk or semi-sweet / dark).
